If you went to Hollyball, you heard popular songs from today, but you did not see many kids dancing. Was it because students just weren’t feeling the music or because they did not know how to dance to it? Mr. Moore came up with a solution for one of these problems.

Mr. Moore has proposed the idea of having a dance class to teach students how to two-step, ten-step, line dance, swing dance, and foxtrot. He came up with the idea at Hollyball when he saw kids standing around instead of dancing. Mr. Moore went to a few English classes, wanting to hear what students thought about the suggestion. “About 75% of the students gave me positive feedback,” says Moore. Ms. Strickland, Mrs. Hiss, and Ms. Stambaugh also thought it was a good idea. Ms. Strickland and Ms. Stambaugh have agreed to help with the class along with a dance instructor.

“I plan on going because I think it sounds really fun,” says senior, Danielle Jordan. The class will be on the evening of March 21st. So if you want to learn how to dance or just want to have a fun evening, be sure to show up!
