November is coming to an end which means that December is just around the corner. What December holds that many students look forward to is not only Christmas break but also Hollyball. Hollyball will he held on December 17 and the theme of this year is Masquerade in Wonderland and people are encouraged to wear masquerade masks. Hollyball is a reward for all of the Kayettes that have been working hard this year by doing community service and selling holly. The Kayette board members have also been working extremely hard to get everything ready for the dance Kayette sponsor Connie Claussen said “ we have to get a DJ almost a year in advance, we sell Holly, we order decorations, and have a work two weeks prior.” Kayettes have to do three hours of community service before Hollyball before they can go if the Kayette is a sophomore, junior, or senior they had to do one hour of spring or summer community service to go to Hollyball “ I have helped with the Job Olympics and Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF” said Katherine Snapp one of the board members for Kayettes. If you are still not sure if you should go Priscilla Ramirez says “ if you go it’s totally worth it!”
