The Panthers took a tough defeat at Friday night’s homecoming game. Scoring only in the first quarter, Great Bend finished with 7 points, while Dodge City had 51 points. The Panthers had a total of 205 offensive yards, compared to the Demons’ 503 offensive yards. Jacob Murray recorded 19 carries for 67 yards. Great Bend was flagged seven times, giving the ball up four times. It was the same number of turnovers as their loss against Garden City. “I’m going to play with more heart in the next game,” said senior Dodger Beckham.

The next game is against the Liberal Redskins. The game begins at seven at Memorial Stadium.
