STUCO Bonfire
October 15, 2019
The STUCO Bonfire is an annual event that is held at the Great Bend Expo Complex during October. Lots of students gather to enjoy music, dancing, food, and of course: the bonfire. Throughout the years, old cars have been donated to be hit with a sledgehammer. With the proper protective gear, students can volunteer to smash parts of the car. This year, the theme is “Let’s Glow Crazy,” or neon themed. The adults in charge of the event encourage students to come wearing as much neon as possible, but avoid wearing clothes made from nylon since it is a fire hazard. Go join the fun at the bonfire on October 16th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Revision: Due to difficulties obtaining the car, there will unfortunately be no car smashing this year at the STUCO Bonfire.
