The Library’s New Makerspace

Mollie Phillips, Reporter

Beginning Tuesday, November 5th, there will be a new activity to take part in in the GBHS library. For $1.50, you can make a custom pop socket with many different decorative media: a color printer, paint, glitter, glue, vintage buttons, old book pages, and more. The Makerspace will be open before and after school and during your lunch period.  “I’ve got a room full of stuff, and I’m super excited to get started on projects beginning next week,” says Emily Mulch, GBHS’s librarian. Students will be able to channel their creative side in more than just pop socket form with the future of this great new library Makerspace.
