On November 6th, GBHS debate coach Mrs. Heath got a surprising certificate from The National Forensic League stating that Great Bend Speech and Debate was qualified for the 100 club. To qualify for the superlative 100 club, you have to have earned over 100 strength points based on memberships and degrees. There are only 100 schools in the United States that qualify for the certificate. “This milestone is remarkable because it demonstrates many hours of learning how to become better communicators, researchers, listeners, writers, and speakers,” said debate coach Mrs. Heath. She continues and says, “I’m proud of each and everyone of our speech and debate students.”
