This Thursday, April 22nd, is Earth Day, which is a day that supports and demonstrates environmental protection. There are activities held on this day by thousands of companies, businesses, schools, etc. including planting trees, gardening, short lectures about importance of keeping the earth safe, and many more spectacular events. Great Bend High School plans to celebrate Earth Day by asking the student body to wear green, blue, or brown to support environmental protection.
