Here’s some more tips to help you when you are overly stressed out! Remember: You deserve to feel okay all of the time, even if you don’t always feel that way.
Tip #3: Think of things to look forward to
It can feel like all you have is busy work and don’t have any time for fun. Take some time to think of things to look forward to or make plans to do something. Sometimes, after a long week, it’s nice to know there is something good waiting for you on the other side.
Tip #4: Grounding Technique
This exercise is to help ground you into the present when your mind is all over the place. First, find 5 things you can see. Then, 4 things you can see, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. This can help you remember your surroundings when in a stressful situation and make you feel more grounded in this reality.
