Looks like Olivia Rodrigo is going to set aside her acting career for a couple of months because Olivia Rodrigo is going on tour! On December 6th, Rodrigo announced in a tweet that “ITS FINALLY HAPPENING” referring to the tour. With the tweet, there was a picture with all of the tour dates, plus special guest appearances from Gracie Abrams, Baby Queen, and Holly Humberstone depending on which show you go to.

Earlier this year, Olivia Rodrigo made history with her debut album “SOUR,” breaking multiple records including the biggest opening week for a female artist globally on Spotify, topping artists like Billie Eillish and Ariana Grande, and being the second biggest streaming album ever for a non-hip hop/ R&B album. Not only did the album itself break records, but some of the songs in the album has personal world records. For example, Rodrigo’s song “drivers license” had the biggest streaming of a song in a single week, topping over 66.5 million streams on Spotify.

This tour is Rodrigo’s first tour as a musician and she is going big. With traveling to almost every state in the U.S. plus 9 different country’s including, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland, united Kingdom, Belgium, France, Italy, and Canada. This will be a lot of pressure for a 18 year old but Rodrigo has some practice with pressure because she is also an actress. She started to get nationally recognized in the Disney Channel original show Bizzardvark, playing Paige Olvera and has branched out to play a more serious role in Highschool Musical: The Musical: The Series: The Special, and plays the character NiNi.

Sadly, Rodrigo’s tour has already been sold out which brings high expectations from the 18 year old.
