Attention all Seniors. Barton Community College is hosting its annual senior day. If you are interested in attending Barton or undecided, this is a perfect opportunity for you. Iris Ibarra and Olivia Roberson are two seniors at our High school that I talked about senior day with. Iris plans to attend barton and will also be attending senior day. She said “it would be a great opportunity for getting to know the environment of the school and the possible benefits that it may have to offer me. I am hoping to solidify my choice of the school from barton day.” Olivia plans to go to a school outside of Kansas but Barton is her back up plan. Olivia thinks it’s a great opportunity because “I can get an inside scoop on the activities and things that are offered. It gives me a way to see it for myself.” Now lets get on and get you some information about the day.

What will happen at this event 

Senior day starts out with an informational meeting that takes place with the administration. Then, you move on to the tour portion. You get to tour the campus along with the different housing options.Then you get to meet with advisors. To end the day, there will be several scholarship drawings. 

Important Information 

Senior Day will take place on November 16, 2022. It will take place at Barton Community College which is located 245 NE 30 Rd. The event will start in the Kirkman/Physical Education building. You have to be signed up for November 1st in order to attend this event.

9 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Check in & Light Refreshments

9:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. Welcome/Information Sessions

10:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Campus/Housing Tour

11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Lunch

12 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. Advisement Session

12:30 p.m. – 1 p.m. Thank You/Prize Drawing/Meet with Athletics/Activities
