Spring is starting which means that tennis season for the boys tennis team is starting as well. The first match for boys tennis team is on March 28. This year the boys tennis team has multiple new people and the outlook for this season seems bright for the coaches who enjoy coaching tennis. The team consists of people who have been playing tennis for years and people who have just started playing tennis. The team has so many people that this year they are able to form four squads. To those people who do not know what that means to have four squads means that there is a red and black Varsity tennis team and a red and black Jr. Varsity team. Dylan Sateren who is one of the many boys on the boys tennis team says “I think that we’re better than last year, we have more people, which means that we’re just a lot better.” This kind of enthusiasm can be seen throughout the boys who are on the team this year along with the coaches. Just two weeks in and the the boys tennis team is already working hard to become better. They have high hopes for this season which can be seen when they play or when they talk about the sport. To the people thinking about joining tennis at some point of time assistant coach Brian Hutchinson says “ Do it. But make sure that you have good shoes and a rackett.”
