How to…Organize Your Locker

How+to...Organize+Your+Locker

No one likes wearing a back breaking backpack so it’s a good thing there’s lockers.  However, the lockers are dull and boring.  There’s also not a lot of space in a locker so you have to find a way to make room.  The amount of time it takes to get from class to class is time consuming so your locker should be organized that way you know where the things you need are at.  Here’s a solution, decorate your locker.

Let’s start with getting all your books to fit, and stay clean.  There are hooks for coats on the sides of the lockers that can be very useful.  If you flip a stacking wire locker shelf upside and hang it on the hooks you have a second shelf.  You could also use a magnetic organizer and pencil holder to keep your pens, pencils, notepads, etc. separate.  Most students tend to lose their keys in their bookbag, so getting simple locker magnets with hooks would make perfect key holders.

To keep not only your locker organized but also your day, you could get a locker dry erase board.  This is an easy way to list your homework, to-do list, assignments, etc. to stay on task.  There are locker size storage baskets that would be beneficial for snacks, extra clothes, personal items, etc.  For wrappers, papers, or other trash, a small trash can could be beneficial.

Now, add your own add your own funky flair!  Add a mirror because who doesn’t want to look at themselves half way through a stressful day.  Inside your locker, on your locker door a cute wallpaper would be a creative way to personalize.  Not only wallpaper, but locker rugs on the sides of bottom of your locker.  Make your locker unique to match your personality!
